Source Code

Code Programs a Computer in the same way Words Program You.

When we are born into this world, we start as empty pitchers that are completely open and dependent on others to take care of us and teach us what it means to be a human.

Think about all the things you were taught growing up. There are more obvious things such as learning how to walk and talk, but what about the not so obvious things such as having the same accent as your parents or only eating particular foods?

As children, we are basically tape recorders processing both sight and sound to become who we are today.

If we consider it in computer terms, the things that come through our 5 senses (see, hear, taste, touch, and smell) act as code that programs our inner man (morals, values, thoughts, emotions, etc).

The conversations we heard, the shows we watched, the music that was played over us all were recorded into us through our 5 senses, and we were programmed and influenced by it in some form or fashion. A lot of times because we are so dependent and trustful of our families, we accept many things as okay.

Therefore, when someone approaches us with something different or contrary to our already accepted programs, we tend to reject it because it does not align with what we were taught to be true.

But are these programs really true? What is truth?

The Word of God is truth.

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. John 17:17 KJV

Jesus is the Word of God.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 KJV
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1: 14

Therefore, Jesus is the truth.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 NIV

Jesus’ way of coding you is by His word. The Word of God is the true source code. So instead of depending on your 5 senses as the source code, Jesus desires to impart His living word into you by His Spirit so that He can interact with your spirit to change the programs in your heart.

Jesus talks to your spirit which is the REAL you. When you are alone reflecting and you have those inner thoughts no one else knows about, that is what the Lord speaks to. He wants to help you, but are you listening to His code?

God is always speaking, but who can hear Him? Is the world louder than the voice of God in your life?

Every moment, we have an opportunity to determine what code we are going let program us. In the same way, the rain falls on everyone, there is always a voice whether internal or eternal that desires to program you. You can either heed the words of God or the words of the devil.

To heed the words of God and begin to change, you first must be born again to engage in the process:

  1. Studying your Bible which is studying the written source code,

  2. Fasting, which is self denial to be able to understand the source code,

  3. Praying, which is talking to and hearing from the source code,

  4. Listening to praise and worship, which is glorifying the source code by singing the code.

If you desire change, ask the Lord Jesus to forgive you, cleanse you from your sins and most importantly to make you born again. Engage in the process, and let Jesus reprogram your life. Now is the time!

Be blessed.
